Aero HSPA transceivers combine the industry-proven Aero EDGE transceiver technology with a novel WCDMA transceiver technology that includes integrated LNAs and eliminates the need for external WCDMA SAW filters.
The Aero HSPA family was designed for ease-of-use and ease-of-manufacture, which enables a faster time-to-market.
Aero HSPA transceivers are available with either an analog I/Q baseband interface, the Aero4229, or an industry-standard DigRF 2G baseband interface combined with an analog I/Q WCDMA baseband interface, the Aero4228. The Aero4228 and Aero4229 both support quad-band EDGE and tri-band HSPA operation.
Aero TD-SCDMA Transceivers
The Aero TD-SCDMA family of transceivers extends the Aero HSPA transceiver technology to TD-HSDPA. Aero TD-SCDMA transceivers deliver world-class performance with low power consumption in the smallest form factor and the lowest bill of materials in the industry.
The Aero4260 is a single-chip transceiver for dual-band TD-HSDPA that includes integrated LNAs and eliminates the need for SAW filters. It was designed for ease-of-use and ease-of-manufacture, which enables a faster time-to-market. The Aero4260 provides an industry-standard 10-bit parallel digital I/Q baseband interface.
